Jen Psaki Faces Congressional Repercussions and Contempt From Gold Star Dad

In a spectacular twist of fate, Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is now facing Congressional repercussions and public scorn both for her part in advancing the misinformation about the Afghanistan withdrawal and her memoir, in which she denies the disrespect Biden showed during the dignified transfer ceremony for the fallen Marines. 

Congress is issuing a subpoena for Pskai to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Psaki has so far ignored requests to appear, instead having her attorney run interference for her. Now, Chairman Michael McCaul sent a formal request to Psaki’s attorney to testify, and he did not mince words. 

In the letter, McCaul states: “The Committee’s thorough investigation points to Ms. Psaki as having played an important role in the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and the deadly August 2021 non-combatant evacuation operation.” He goes on to note,

“As White House Press Secretary throughout this period, Ms. Psaki was charged with communicating the withdrawal to the American people and possesses key insights into the planning and decision-making regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal, the rapid Taliban takeover, and the evacuation of American citizens and Afghan allies. Ms. Psaki unfortunately advanced narratives regarding the withdrawal and evacuation that my investigation has proven untrue.”

The timing of this coincides with the release of Psaki’s book, in which she adamantly denies that Biden repeatedly looked at his watch during the dignified transfer of the 13 fallen Marines.

This ignited the fury of at least one of the Gold Star Fathers, who lambasted Pskai on major news outlets. In response to the outrage as well as photos and videos proving her lie, Psaki agreed to edit future editions of her book. 

McCaul pointed out the Biden administration’s public support of former Trump officials being interviewed by Congress and warned Psaki of attempting to rely on “thin legal arguments’ in an effort to avoid testifying, given her status as a private citizen and her displayed a willingness to profit from her experience by publishing her book.

This is a direct result of the song’s impact on people, and the people’s positive response. 

Americans are tired of the faith-bashing, and tapping deeper into our faith to hold the line between good and evil. Chad’s light-tuned song is the perfect pick-me-up, and Americans are grateful to him.
